How to read this pageShow
- Open interest (OI)
- The number of contracts that are open. It rises when new positions are created and falls when positions are closed.
- Long build-up
- Price went up and OI went up: new positions were added while the price rose.
- Short build-up
- Price went down and OI went up: new positions were added while the price fell.
- Short covering
- Price went up and OI went down: positions were closed while the price rose.
- Long unwinding
- Price went down and OI went down: positions were closed while the price fell.
- No clear change
- OI moved by less than 1%, so no label is given.
